Fix a Word table that runs off the page

A table wider than the printable area may hide columns, especially after content is pasted from another document or webpage.

Fit it to the window

Select the table and choose Table Layout → AutoFit → AutoFit Window. Then inspect column widths and cell margins. If the page is intentionally narrow, landscape orientation may be more readable than squeezing every column.

Remove floating positioning

Open Table Properties → Table. Set text wrapping to None so the table returns to normal document flow. Floating positioning can place part of a table beyond a margin.

Check the DOCX locally to find floating-table settings. Width and orientation remain visual choices that should be adjusted in Word.
